Earlier this year, the Merced County Board of
Supervisors voted to join San Diego's frivolous
lawsuit that sought to overturn our compassionate
medical marijuana laws. The San Diego County Superior
Court ruled in favor of upholding our long-standing
medical marijuana laws, including SB 420, which
requires counties to provide voluntary ID cards to
qualified medical marijuana patients.

The board will be discussing last week's ruling (in
closed session) at their upcoming meeting, scheduled
for Tuesday evening in the City of Merced.

Please attend this meeting to urge the Merced County
Supervisors not to seek an appeal in this case, and to
instead begin issuing the medical marijuana IDs.
