 Merced County Board of\nSupervisors voted to join San Diego's 
 frivolous\nlawsuit that sought to overturn our compassionate\nmedical 
 marijuana laws. The San Diego County Superior\nCourt ruled in favor of 
 upholding our long-standing\nmedical marijuana laws, including SB 420, 
 which\nrequires counties to provide voluntary ID cards to\nqualified 
 medical marijuana patients.\n\nThe board will be discussing last week's 
 ruling (in\nclosed session) at their upcoming meeting, scheduled\nfor 
 Tuesday evening in the City of Merced.\n\nPlease attend this meeting to 
 urge the Merced County\nSupervisors not to seek an appeal in this case, and 
 to\ninstead begin issuing the medical marijuana IDs.\n\nMeeting
