Michael Franti Hosts Middle East Peace Activist Solidarity Speech at Power To the Peaceful
Michael Franti discusses his recent trip to Baghdad. He introduced two women peace activists, one from Israel and the other from Palestine. It was a powerful solidarity presentation, with a wise message for U.S. activists - not to take sides on which nation is right or wrong, but to work for a peaceful solution which enable justice for all the people in the region. The theme of the entire day had to do with being peace, a very powerful and moving event in Golden Gate Park. (15 minutes)
