She discovered Tantra in the early seventies and her bestselling book 'Sexual Secrets' (co-written with Nik Douglas) was published in 1979. For the last twelve years she has been living at the Goddess Temple, sanctuary and multi-media studios, in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Most states separate prisoners by genitalia alone, so pre-op transgender women are placed in men's correctional facilities, where they find themselves vulnerable and preyed upon.
This documentary portrays the challenges faced by these women.
Analysis and discussion with TIP organizers will precede the film.
