For years, Tom Tomorrow's acerbic and hilarious political cartoon, This Modern World, has been among the most recognizable and widely read comic strips in the country. In his first full-color compilation, "Hell in a Handbasket," Tomorrow looks unflinchingly at what America has become in the years since 9/11. "Hail, Tom Tomorrow." - Michael Moore.
Tom Tomorrow is the creator of the nationally syndicated cartoon strip This Modern World. His work appears each week in Salon.com and in alternative newspapers across the country. He has also been featured in the New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, The New Yorker, Esquire, and elsewhere. The former San Francisco resident is a two-time recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for Cartooning.
