Berkeley HS Censors NORML from Internet

Berkeley may have a reputation for cannabis tolerance, but that
hasn't penetrated to the city's public education establishment. A
few days ago, Cal NORML received a call from a Berkeley High School
student asking for information. I told him the answers to his
questions were all on our website. "I can't get to your website," he
replied, "Our school's computers are blocked." Apparently, Berkeley
HS administrators feel it is unfit to expose their students to
information about marijuana reform.
Of course, the kids know a lot more than their teachers would like
to pretend. Berkeley High School has published a slang dictionary
that is chock full of references to pot: baked, bammer, blessed
sacrament, blunt, bogart, bomb and bud, to mention only the B's. But
when it comes to the internet, all they get is BS.
