John Brown - An American Revolutionary - 205th Birthday - May 9, 2005
Yesterday (May 9) was John Brown’s 205th Birthday. Its strange but you get the feeling most people want to forget about John Brown and the things he did to bring about the end of slavery. He was one abolitionist who included the black community in the development and implementation of initiatives to end slavery. He was a true radical and revolutionary who gave his life in the effort to end slavery.
