Join us for our launch party, featuring a performance by Gennifer M. Hirano, asianprincess and readings by Mattilda (Matt Bernstein Sycamore), Kirk Read, Shauna Rogan, and Lady Monster, kicking off with a Whore Open Mic, as part of the 4th San Francisco Sex Worker Film and Arts Festival, MC’d by boa’s publisher, Melissa Gira.


boa: new whore culture is a web-based journal featuring sex worker artists, activists, and provocateurs. Our aim is to showcase sharp cultural critique, provoking first-person lit, & visual and performing arts speaking to whore-driven culture and community. boa is for and by whores working in diverse trades, working multiple media and identities.

7:30 Whore Open Mic (sign up begins at 7pm) 8:00pm: Readings, Followed by “Stripper School” with asianprincess.
