1) Wall event at Berkeley Campus, Sproul Hall, 10am-2pm
Co-organized by Students for Justice in Palestine and Tzedek.
Come out and help educate the campus community about the devastating effects of Israel’s illegal Wall being built in the West Bank. See a full scale model of the Wall and learn about what you can do to pressure Israel to comply with international law and tear down the wall!
2) Panel presentation and power point on the Wall and resistance.
7-9pm at the Berkeley Fellowship of Universalist-Unitarians, 1924 Cedar St., Berkeley. $5-$10, no one turned away for lack funds
Presenters: Erica Kay and John Reese with the Stop the Wall tour will speak on the environmental effects, especially water, of the occupation and the Wall. Lisa Nessan with ISM and a freelance journalist with the Alternative Information Center and Amir Terkel, an Israeli refusnik and peace activist will both speak about their recent experiences in Palestine/Israel and what we can do to resist Israel’s illegal Wall.

I do not understand the Jewish People are a very small per-cent of the U.S. Population.......They enjoy the freedoms granted to the People of the U.S., one of which is freedom.....Why do these same Jewish People want to deny the Palestinian People their Freedom and their land? Why do they want to deny the People who wish to help in the injustice suffered. their freedom to help and their freedom of speech to speak out on these atrocities and injustice......

S/he used to extol those anti-Zionist "holy Jews" of the Neturei Karta and never complained in a blanket manner about the majority of US Jews opposing their rabid pro-Palestinian stance. Now ANGEL apparently experienced a slip of pen (keyboard) and will scramble to control damages. Or perhaps that was only the first of an endless barrage yet to come?

I don't want to tell you all I've learn (it is a lot), but the most shocking for me was that I thought that all the poor arabs wanted is state and freedom to live. I thought - why Israelis do not give them this choice? How bad from them. After talking to some witnesses (by the way - former Russian operatives who helped in 1967 to arab countries to fight Israel) after reading some books, asking people, comparing facts I discovered that these people - Arabs who call themselves palestinians - DON'T WANT their state. All they want is Israel to be destroyed. It was very impressive for me, it turned me upside down. Wow! They kill their own people who are willing to find the way to piece. If you look at their text books, they do not have Israel on the map. Can you, darling, imagine someone create a map w/out USA or Russia? Just because they hate this country. So this is all not about Jews being bad guys to poor Arabs. This is about Arabs fighting against Christians, Jews, all so called infidels. (Israel is 0.01% of all land there and it has no oil, water, gold, minerals - it has NOTHING). Nobody wanted this land for centuries. Now they need exactly this tiny piece. Ask yourself - why? If not - continue thinking in your direction and I can predict that one day you will find your loved one blown in the bus or in the cafe or disco... If the Palestinian People do not want their State?
Why did Powerful People who have available to them loads and loads of Imformation from all kind of sources.......The U.S., the E.U., the U.N., and Russia come up with the Road Map to Middle-East Peace which calls for a Viable Palestinian State in the West Bank and Gaza free from the Israeli Military.
I do not think these People/groups would want to ruin their reputation by lies.
I know that I do not know everything, but most of what I write is fact.

After all, the Clinton Administration knew full well that the clauses within the PLO charter calling for the destruction of Israel weren't removed as they were supposed to, and decided to move ahead with the Oslo process pretending those clauses were removed.

ANGEL knows full well those "facts" are outdated and s/he him/herself repeatedly relays the real facts re the intifada's toll on both sides and home demolitions. So s/he's repeatedly contradicting him/herself. ANGEL has a reliability problem.
Furthermore, ANGEL's URLs set the beginning of the casualty toll on Sep 29 '00 whereas in reality the death toll starts when the intifada broke out 2 days earlier. Two strikes against his/her URLs.

When we quit putting the crooked, self serving congress-people and senators back into office year after year, term after term-only then will we rid our government of this moronic notion that we have to finance Israel to raze Palestinian houses and kill innocent Palestinian civilians and build walls.

American Jews who are U.S. citizens are not foreigners and should have all the rights and freedom of any U.S. citizen.

And these same American Jews should not want to deny those same freedom to other People who are U.S. citizens.
I would like to see a time where every person can only be a Citizen of one Country.
Therefore you are either a Citizen of the U.S. and not a Citizen of any other Nation. or You simply live in the U.S. for work reasons or whatever, and are in the U.S. on Visa but are a Citizen of lets say Spain or Italy or France or Israel. but then you would not have a right to vote in U.S. Election because you are not a U.S. Citizen, but a Citizen of another Country.
Soldiers living in Iraq or where ever they serve can Vote in U.S. election because even though they are not at the Present living in the U.S. they are U.S. Citizens.
An Italian with an Italian Citizenship should be able to Vote in an Italian Election even though they may be living in the U.S. for reason of work but are not U.S. Citizens therefore they should not be able to Vote in U.S. Elections.
A Person should be entitled to only be a citizen of one Country and if they like another Country so much they should be willing to give up one Citizenship for another.....
A lot of problems could be solved just by this one common sense solution......
