/Roll up to an industrial parking lot on the North-Oakland Emeryville border and get ready for a balmy twilight of art, music and film. Lola's Film Frenzy, is an summer monthly outdoor film series. The Frenzy is a community event which brings neighborhoods together to watch great independent film.
Voted best vintage clothing store in the East Bay, these retro gals will be opening the Frenzy with a glamorous fashion show, that reflects day and night ware of cinema chic days gone by. Original designs also include!
*Our feature film* presentation this month will be Scott Hamilton kennedy's award winning OUR TOWN.
Against all odds, the students at Dominguez High School set out to put on the school’s first theatrical production in more than 20 years. But what does Thornton Wilder’s famous play about life in rural Grover’s Corners have to do with Compton, California? OT: Our Town follows the students on their discovery of the power of art and the human spirit.
Grab you chair and blanket and come lounge underneath the stars at Lola's Film Frenzy.
We have great door prizes from Pixar, Trader Joes, Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe and Cinder Block Printers.
