Reclaim the Commons Greening Garfield Park 6/9
Lots of wonderful Green Bloc Folks and a few Radical Family Collective operatives united to build a cobb dinosaur and do some planting in Garfield Park at Harrison and 25th in SF on June 9th.
This day was billed as a "Day of Solutions" by Reclaim the Commons organizers.
And to me bypassing the tangled red tape "required" just to fart in San Francisco's parks, spending a day with lots of really great people, working with the earth, connecting with the community, demonstrating sustainable building methods and giving our few SF green spaces some TLC, is definitely solution oriented action.
