We are announcing the newly formed organization, GMO Free Alameda County-
GMO Free Alameda County is a community group dedicated to keeping
genetically modified crops (GMOs) out of Alameda County’s ecosystems and
food supply.
Our goal is to pass legislation banning the development of GMO crops in
Alameda County.
Our first event is an evening of food, education and film….
Jeffrey Smith, the author of the widely acclaimed book, Seeds of Deception,
is speaking June 2nd at Russell Bass’ Café de la Paz, 1600 Shattuck Ave,
Berkeley, 510-843-0662. Admission is $15.00.

5:30 – 6:00 Meet and Greet, Photo Ops

6:00 – 7:00 Wonderful dinner hosted by Café de la Paz
7:00 – 8:00 Jeffrey Smith, speaking on the dangers of genetically
