Marriage Equality. 1 to 5PM - The LGBT Center of San Francisco, Equality
California, GLAAD, Our Family Coalition, and Marriage Equality California would like
to invite you to a marriage media training at the San Francisco LGBT Community
Center 1800 Market St. Same-sex couples that are married or plan to marry are
welcomed to attend this spokespeople training to learn how to effectively access and
engage the media in your local communities. Also People of Color are especially
urged to participate to show the world that this is an issue which impacts all

March 28-29 - Marriage Equality California is holding a Candlelight Vigil/Karaoke
Wedding Song marathon planned for Sunday March 28th at 6:30pm - the day before the
SF Court rules on the injunction to stop issuing marriage licenses in SF - (or on
any day before that, if the Supreme Court orders the City to stop issuing marriage
licenses.)



The plan is to march from Harvey Milk Plaza in the Castro to City Hall/SF
Courthouse/Supreme Courthouse - and then to continue the rally with an endless night
of dancing to Karaoke Wedding Songs sung by volunteers until the court rules on the
injunction on Monday - probably around noon - on the 29th.



All groups of the GLBT Community and our Straight Allies are invited to take part,
all singers, organizers, leaders, participators, in this peaceful, fun, entertaining
and visually strong statement of a 24 hour Wedding Song Karaoke. Couples are
encouraged to wear wedding garb and bring a copy of their marriage license on a
poster board for show. This is for both the different sex and same sex married
couples participating.
