A Discussion with Catherine Austin Fitts:
Ex Bush-Clinton Investment Banker Exposes Government Corruption and Offers a New Vision for Healthy, Sustainable and Prosperous Local Economies
Join a discussion with Catherine Austin Fitts, high-level financial specialist in the first Bush and the Clinton administrations, and now leader of a movement to expose government corruption and teach a new vision for prosperous, neighborhood-based economies that are rooted in local community control. (See: www.solari.com)
Ms. Fitts has recently making a national news splash: she is prominently quoted in a full-page national newspaper ad---which the S.F. Chronicle refused to publish---that is now appearing in 14 major urban newspapers across the country. The ad, which seeks to expose the corruption at the heart of the federal government and our economic crisis, can be found at:

In her Sunday a.m. talk, Ms. Fitts will present the “Solari” vision: how America's 72,000 neighborhoods can reclaim self-determination and create healthy, sustainable and prosperous local economies. Together with local residents John Maeck and Marc Tognotti, she will announce the formation of Fillmore Solari.
Catherine Austin Fitts, president and founder of Solari, Inc. (www.solari.com), and a founder of unasweredquestions.org, was formerly Assistant Secretary to HUD under the first Bush administration, lead financial adviser to the FHA under Clinton, and member of the board and partner of Dillon Read.
The one-hour event will be held Sunday, July 13, 10 AM at the Unitarian Universalist Center, 1187 Franklin (at Geary), in the Martin Luther King Room. Her brief presentation will be followed by Q&A.
