University Budget Crisis: Where is the money really going?

At Santa Cruz the Universtity's budget crisis has affected students and faculty by cutting outreach programs, cutting writing programs (specifically the Journalism minor) and raising tuition.
The University of California, though in the midst of a budget crisis, is still a heavy campaign contributor for various California politicians. At Santa Cruz the Universtity's budget crisis has affected students and faculty by cutting outreach programs, cutting writing programs (specifically the Journalism minor) and raising tuition. But the University has contributed more than $68,000 to California congressmen and congresswomen. Here's where the money is going:
