Tell the PUC to support renewable energy!

There will be a Public Utilities Commission meeting on January 22nd. Please attend and tell them comission to suppport renewable energy.

The California PUC is trying to backpedal on the states Community Choice Aggregation and the Renewables Portfolio Standard.

The Ratepayers for Affordable Green Energy (RAGE) coalition’s position and that of the 12 million Californians, including the City and County of San Francisco, Los Angeles County and the ten Los Angeles municipalities as well as Marin County who have unanimously passed a resolution asking that the CPUC delay any decision on multi-year electric utility procurement or power plant acquisition for at least six months and complete its regulations for Community Choice Aggregation and the Renewables Portfolio Standard.

The meeting is taking place on January 22nd, and begins at 10:00am at the CPUC offices at 505 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, in the auditorium. If you have any questions please be in touch with Kristin Casper at Greenpeace in San Francisco at (415) 255-9221 ext. 321.

Global Warming; the myth

Global Warming the greatest myth of our time created to gather funding for research on this subject, in both nonprofit and scientific research programs. and the experts on the subject are making windfall profits on preaching doom and gloom. no proof needed,

if it is too hot - Global Warming
if it is too cold - Global Warming
if it is too wet - Global Warming
if it is too dry - Global Warming

and this lame story is being used to extort funding for useless projects that produce "nothing of value" to any one except the research (and I use this term loosely) who lines his pockets while producing worthless findings for his pay.

§ this is our chance

we need to stop global warming and get a clean energy sorce that doesnot distroy the ozone.
clean power produced by mother earth, no chemical discharges into the air, or the sea. we can ease up on oil use. every body wins, we need to start using these alternative fuel sources to free our selves from big oil
(I am sure big oil wants to stop any other energy from coming on the market ) this is our chance to make the switch, to a New power source!
we cannot pollute the earth with oil for ever...we have to stop! and this is our chance.We need to go back to pro nuclear power, by far the cleanest of all flues! we can produce more power with less echo-disruption than any other available fuel source known today. it is with in our grasp to change our dependence on big oil.with clean non polluting nuclear power!
