Tell the PUC to support renewable energy!

There will be a Public Utilities Commission meeting on January 22nd. Please attend and tell them comission to suppport renewable energy.
The California PUC is trying to backpedal on the states Community Choice Aggregation and the Renewables Portfolio Standard.

The Ratepayers for Affordable Green Energy (RAGE) coalition’s position and that of the 12 million Californians, including the City and County of San Francisco, Los Angeles County and the ten Los Angeles municipalities as well as Marin County who have unanimously passed a resolution asking that the CPUC delay any decision on multi-year electric utility procurement or power plant acquisition for at least six months and complete its regulations for Community Choice Aggregation and the Renewables Portfolio Standard.

The meeting is taking place on January 22nd, and begins at 10:00am at the CPUC offices at 505 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, in the auditorium. If you have any questions please be in touch with Kristin Casper at Greenpeace in San Francisco at (415) 255-9221 ext. 321.
