Keep BART running late

As your petition points out, BART needs time for maintenance and also it costs a lot to run trains with only a few people. In fact, it would probably be cheaper for BART to have Taxi cabs take people where they're going and just charge them the BART fare, and I don't think BART's going to do this!

So, it'd be nice to run BART later, but how are you going to fund it? BART gets its operating money primarily through sales tax revenue and fares, and both are currently down. The federal money is for construction and equipment purchases. Do you want to raise the sales tax (again)?

I'll remind you that you made this accusation this past weekend, and I was courteous enouth to respond to your post. You can continue with your false accusations or you can suggest to those who are causing me time and energy to cease. Unless, of course, you're one of them.
