Tenants at Effies House are threatened with demolition
crews, partial evictions, and the threat of illegal
occupations in their homes! A Bizarre Situation!

Join Oaklanders for the protest to Save Effies House
from the demolition crews scheduled on June 16th to
start demolishing rental units!

In violation of all Local, State, & Federal Rent Laws,
E.B.A.L.D.C. plans to occupy & partially demolish
rental units at Effies House that already are occupied
by renters who pay rent for the same space that
E.B.A.L.D.C. plans to steal from them without offering
any compensation! An outrageous scheme by an
outrageous landlord!

Spread the word, bring some friends, and join
Oaklanders opposed to the unlawful activities of
landlords who conduct Partial Evictions and abuse the
rights of tenants in Oakland!

Organization & known for it's abuse of it's renters at
Effies House.

During November of 2002, local news media covered a
protest outside Effies House where tenants & activists
brought attention to the plight of renters at Effies
House who were threatened with evictions if any of
them were caught using incense or candles by
E.B.A.L.D.C.
