Another case of SF States repression of the Palestinians
In yet another case of repression of progressive students supporting the Palestinian cause. SF State students were met with a large contingent of police and adminstrators threatening legal action if we were to proceed dressing as soldiers and passing out literature about today's rally on campus. The event was to illustrate the realities of Israeli checkpoints and the daily experiences of Palestinians.
The main event is a rally in rememberacne of the Deir Yassin massacre of Palestinians and begins at 11 AM
SF State admininstration continues to behave on its pro-Israel bias and is taking it out on Palestinian student groups. The General Union of Palestinian Students was subjected to sanctions for incidents out of their control at events last year. The unequal treatment of student groups continues to be a problem here and will continue to be until the administration is put in its place.
Sorry for the hurried and inarticulated report. Please support radical students at SF State and their battle for due process.
