Local Christian Nightclub Confronts Readers with Racist Jokes

FRESNO CALIFORNIA- Anti Muslim / Arab jokes and discrimination aren't too hard to find in conservative Fresno California. On the website of a local Christian Night Club called 'Kuppajoe' readers were blasted with racist, alienating jokes. The club has been in existence for a few years in central Fresno and is a small all-ages venue.

There is dialog on the website's guestbook about the offensive jokes. One poster who calls himself 'Batman' says "99% of jokes are making fun of people. That's what a joke is."

In Fresno there is a large muslim population. There are three mosques, student clubs on the college campuses and various stores that cater to the Muslim community.
