BARI VERDICT ALERT!

The Judi Bari vs. FBI jury sent a note to the judge Monday afternoon saying they have reached unanimous verdicts on 6 of the 7 defendants.

The judge has called lawyers for both sides to come to court at 8 AM Tuesday morning.

The issue is whether to accept a partial verdict and discharge the jury, or require the jury to continue deliberations in an effort to avoid a hung jury on one defendant, which might lead to a second trial.

This means the verdict may come in Tuesday, but there is no guarantee. It depends on what the judge decides.
