Virtual screening of the documentary "Samia Halaby Draws the Kafr Qasim Masscre of 1956"

Screening will be followed by Q&A discussion with the audience.

The Kafr Qasim Massacre took place on October 29, 1956, when Israel Border Police officers, deployed as Israeli army regulars, murdered in cold blood 49 Palestinian citizens—all unarmed men, women, and children—in the village of Kafr Qasim, located near the 'Green Line.' The killings occurred after residents returning from work unknowingly violated a hastily imposed curfew that had been enacted at the onset of the Suez Canal invasion without their knowledge.
