In the forefront of the organizations fighting the depredations of the Trump regime, are the California Nurses Association and National Nurses United.

The Trump regime is dismantling the nation’s judiciary; has created a corps of terrorist goons; has engaged in hitherto unimaginable corruption; has waged undeclared wars of aggression; and oh yes, is now facing increasingly documented evidence of presidential pedophilia.

Trump is working to subvert an election that increasingly looks like a national repudiation.

Still beyond this, nurses have an additional beef. They see ICE committing the obscenity of kidnapping people, enabled by Palantir’s data software, as they seek medical care.

Taking good care of their protestors, the event began with a not bad at all warm Mexican dinner.

The space between the imposing office buildings then filled with nurses and their supporters.

Red demand listing t-shirts were distributed and nearly everyone wore.

Several wore inflatable costumes pointing to the rapacious greed the nurses saw as exhibited by the health insurance industry and organization such as Kaiser Permanente.

A lectern was set up in front of a large “Protect our Patients and out vote sign.” Union reps and movement leaders addressed the crowd, As darkness fell, hundreds of heart shaped red light sticks waved, much enjoyed by the many children there.

The rally was followed by a march to the nearby Kaiser Corporate Headquarters.

The event was part of a National Day of Action taking place across six cities in the United States to demand that healthcare executives protect our patients, refuse to collaborate with the authoritarian Trump regime, and support free and fair election.
