Do you know about the proposed “United States–Israel Defense Technology Cooperation
Initiative” embedded in the annual must-pass military funding bill, and what it could mean
for US foreign policy, military affairs, and the war industries of both countries? Janet Weil,
a member of CODEPINK and Veterans For Peace, will do a deep dive into this sinister
provision, then lead a discussion of what we can DO about it, whether the NDAA has
been passed (unlikely) or not by early November.
Janet Weil, a blogger, editor, and retired ESL teacher, and a military family member, has
been a peace and environmental activist for decades. A Bay Area resident for 36 years,
Janet is currently active in Palestine Solidarity work in the Coachella Valley.
