Disrupt TechCrunch, a conference highlighting tech and start ups, will feature Flock Safety, Inc. founder and CEO Garrett Langley at its annual event this year, to be held at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.

Flock's mass surveillance network statistically has NOT increased safety. Instead, it has been abused by local police departments to track down women fleeing domestic violence and has falsely accused people of a variety of crimes.

We will be demonstrating to highlight the absolute incoherence of inviting Garrett Langley, CEO of surveillance tech company Flock Safety, to speak at an event in San Francisco while ICE is leveraging Flock technology to terrorize communities throughout California in particular and across the nation.

The Wolves are supported in this protest by co-sponsors Bay Resistance, the Raging Grannies, DSA Silicon Valley, DeFlock SF, SOS Safety Over Surveillance and Peoples Aid amongst others.

Our protest outside Moscone Center where the conference is being held will feature multiple speakers, 1984 movie audio clips, banners, signs, surprise art visuals, and an opportunity for community members to express their outrage against Flock and other automated license plate readers (ALPR’s). Flock Safety, Inc. has been at the forefront of this industry holding approximately 80% of the US market based on mapping data.
