“Whose City? Our City!” – Rise Up against Mayor Lurie’s Attacks

Meeting and discussion: “Whose City? Our City!” — Rise Up against Mayor Lurie’s Attacks
October 25 @ 12:00 pm PDT

Working San Franciscans face ever-increasing claims of a fiscal crisis and the need to cut city services and the workers who provide them. With local billionaires and their corporations getting richer by the day, there is plenty of wealth to fund all the city’s needs. Mayor Lurie and his ultra wealthy backers have created the crisis to protect their riches and avoid paying taxes, while regular folks face impossible living costs. It’s time for poor and working people in every community to unite and fight back. Come to a public discussion to share your thoughts on how we can mobilize to take back our city.
