At Open AI's SF Developers Conference Protesters & Developers Talk About Regulation & Tech

Open AI held a developers conference at the Ft. Mason in the Marina on September 29, 2026
and developers from around the world attended as well as people protesting the use of AI to
target and kill people in Palestine and wars around the war. Developers also talked about their
concerns over safety and the future of AI.
Activists at the protest also talked about the ideology of the techno fascists and the danger of
democracy with the likely effort to institute martial law in the election process.
A developer of robots also talked about the lack of any regulation and protection of workers
and people with the introduction of robots in the workplace.
