Emergency Action to Save TPS (Temporary Protected Status)

(San Francisco, Sept. 25) - Stung by the bad “optics” of its attacks on immigrants and also citizens in Milwaukee and other locations, ICE goons have lowered their profile as they ramp up ever more thousands of deportations. Currently over 50,000.

The cruelty of Trump and his terrorists knows no bounds. There is a video in this morning's NY Times of a girl on a hospital bed screaming and clutching her mother as ICE thugs tear her mother away. Makes it difficult to maintain one’s composure.

Its not just far off Palestinians that are the victims of ethnic cleansing. Trump, in addition to enabling Israel’s crimes, is perpetrating a 21st century ethnic cleansing in the country that once considered itself a beacon of salvation for millions of oppressed. Once doubtful but now laughable.

The racist Trump regime is in the process of deporting 350,00 Haitians back to a country enveloped in violence. Haitian TPS holders have been here for decades, among them 130,000 nurses and home health care workers.

They are being sent to Haiti, where massacres, rapes and killings occur daily. They are being humiliated with ankle shackles and hunted in their cars. Pierre Dama Bel, 20, despondent at the loss of his ability to live his daily life and haunted by the threat of deportation, just committed suicide. This is yet another murder by ICE.
