People's Park has been enclosed, but the community connected to it has not disappeared.

People are still gathering, feeding one another, offering support, making art, preserving history, and organizing across Southside. The question now is what comes next.

What do we want for People's Park and the people connected to it? Why are we still here? How do we protect public space, support people displaced from the park, and make UC Berkeley and the City of Berkeley respond?

Together, we will discuss what we want and how we get there:

• protecting public space;
• investing in existing homes and services;
• supporting people displaced from the park;
• carrying the park's history forward;
• building relationships across groups; and
• creating public accountability.

Panel discussion and audience questions begin at 7:30 p.m.

Music, food, and community gathering follow from approximately 9–10 p.m.
