Block The Merger: Rally outside AG Bonta's Oakland office

(Oakland, CA)— The Block the Merger Coalition will rally outside the California Attorney General's office in Oakland tomorrow, calling on AG Bonta to reject a reported settlement on the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger and fully block the deal.

The action follows a coalition statement released today responding to reports of a possible settlement, which would rest on unenforceable concessions and benefit only David Ellison - at the expense of the hundreds of thousands of workers, journalists, and consumers the merger would harm. More than 75,000 people have petitioned state AGs to stand firm, alongside industry leaders and elected officials including Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
