'I Care About Peace' Series: Protect Al Aqaba’s Land, Water, and Future

We invite you to join us for the fourth installment of Rebuilding Alliance's 'I Care About Peace' Series: Protect Al Aqaba's Land, Water, and Future.

The small village of Al Aqaba, in the Northern Jordan Valley of the West Bank, has long been a model of what peace can look like. But after a new settler outpost was erected inside the village in April, 2026, and as the Government of Israel plans the new "Crimson Thread Barrier", suddenly the entire village is at risk.

Rebuilding Alliance's Advocacy Program got its start in 2008 after the village kindergarten that RA built, along with most homes, received demolition orders. Together with a great attorney, the village's inspiring mayor Haj Sami, and the entire village's steadfastness, Al Aqaba prevailed and remains standing.

Please join us to learn more about Al Aqaba, the risks the village currently faces, and how you can ask Congress to intervene to protect Al Aqaba families and assure their right to remain on their land.
