The trail of Osama Bin Laden and Saudis leading to 911

Two prominent Saudi families fled the U.S. shortly after 911

The U.S. government has been aware of Osama Bin Laden for a number of years before the 911 attack occurred that killed nearly 3,000 people. As far back as 1994, the government knew that Osama Bin Laden moved his home and headquarters to the country of Sudan, from Saudi Arabia. This is the same country that the international terrorist known as Carlos reportedly lived in for over a year with the protection of senior Sudan government officials, until they were pressured by France to hand him over. In one September 13, 1994 report, it states that the Iranians were involved in a road-building project in Sudan, as part of an of an Iranian Aid Project south of Khartoum, involving the “El Hijra” Construction Company owned by the Saudi businessman (and backer of radical causes) Osama Bin Laden. At the time, the company had construction and maintenance camps along the road, and the information was passed along by locals to government officials.

Indeed. According to a November 23, 1994 report, the U.S. government was aware of Osama Bin Laden’s terrorist activities since 1994, or before, and was aware that during 1994 Osama Bin Laden was wanted by the government of Saudi Arabia (SAG). Osama Bin Laden’s citizenship was revoked because he failed to return to Saudi Arabia to answer charges for supporting extremist groups, and financing terrorism.

That’s right. During 1994, reportedly, “THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT REVOKED THE CITIZENSHIP OF OSAMA BIN LADIN, A SAUDI KNOWN TO SUPPORT EXTREMIST GROUPS AND SUSPECTED OF FINANCING TERRORISM IN YEMEN, SUDAN, AFGHANISTAN, EGYPT, LEBANON, AND THE OCCUPIED TERRITORIES. MINISTRY OF INTERIOR OFFICIALS SAID THAT BIN LADEN'S CITIZENSHIP WAS REVOKED BECAUSE HE HAD FAILED TO FOLLOW GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVES TO RETURN TO SAUDI ARABIA TO ANSWER CHARGES AND BECAUSE OF HIS "IRRESPONSIBLE ACTIVITIES WHICH CONTRADICTED THE KINGDOM'S INTERESTS AND HARMED ITS RELATIONS WITH SISTERLY COUNTRIES." BIN LADEN IS BANNED FROM RE-ENTERING THE KINGDOM.

According to some September, 1996 reports, Osama Bin Laden asked the Nangarhar Shura for permission to stay in the eastern provinces of Afghanistan, where he wanted to use it as a safe haven for terrorist training camps for Saudis. He was turned down, and left for Kabul, where officials lost track of his whereabouts. The Taliban did not want Bin Laden and his training camps to remain in areas under their control.

In a May 1997, report, in part it says, “DURING THE COURSE OF A 4/29 TELCON, SAUDI POLITICAL COUNSELOR RAHAB MASSOUD AFFIRMED TO SA A/S RAPHEL THAT THE SAG'S FIRST PRIORITY IS TO GET THE TALIBAN TO HAND OVER TO THEM OSAMA BIN LADEN. THEIR SECOND PRIORITY IS TO KEEP BIN LADEN FROM DIRECTING OPERATIONS OR HAVING ACCESS TO THE INTERNATIONAL MEDIA AND TO OTHER RADICAL ISLAMISTS. THE SAUDIS WERE GREATLY UPSET BY THE SPATE OF MEDIA INTERVIEWS AND ARTICLES THAT APPEARED WHEN BIN LADEN WAS IN THE JALALABAD AREA. THEY DISCUSSED BIN LADEN'S MEDIA ACCESS WITH THE TALIBAN. THE SAG IS HOPEFUL THAT THE TALIBAN DECISION TO MOVE BIN LADEN CLOSE TO TALIBAN HEADQUARTERS IN KANDAHAR WILL EFFECTIVELY KEEP BIN LADEN ISOLATED, AWAY FROM THE MEDIA AND UNDER TALIBAN CONTROL.” Additionally, reportedly, “THE SAUDIS HAVE SENT A DELEGATION OF RELIGIOUS EXPERTS TO DISCUSS ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE WITH THE TALIBAN AND, PRESUMABLY, TO OFFER THEM ISLAM-BASED JUSTIFICATIONS FOR TURNING BIN LADEN OVER TO THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT.”

Reportedly, in July 1997, “TECHMASTER ENGINEERING, INC. (TEL is a USG - DSAA qualified contractor), A US-AFFILIATE OF A HOLDING COMPANY OF THE BIN LADEN GROUP HAS BEEN ENGAGED IN ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS UNDER FMF FUNDED CONTRACTS FOR THE EGYPTIAN MILITARY FOR SEVERAL YEARS. TEL CLAIMS IT WAS BANNED FROM COMPETING FOR NEW EGYPTIAN MILITARY CONTRACTS ACCORDING TO EGYPTIAN MILITARY INTELLIGENCE INSTRUCTIONS IN MARCH 1996. THE BUSINESSMEN UNDERSTAND THAT THE BAN MAY BE THE OUTGROWTH OF CONCERNS ABOUT THE BIN LADEN FAMILY CONNECTIONS WITH TERRORIST OSAMA BIN LADEN.”

In May 1988, the US Government was seeking host government assistance against Osama Bin Laden. Reportedly, “THE USG IS VERY CONCERNED BY STATEMENTS MADE BY TERRORIST OSAMA BIN LADEN AT A MAY 26 PRESS CONFERENCE IN KHOST, AFGHANISTAN. BIN LADEN REPORTEDLY SAID:”ALL MUSLIMS MUST DECLARE JIHAD AGAINST THEM (THE U.S. TROOPS) AND EXPEL THEM FROM THE HOLY LAND (SAUDI ARABIA).... THE JIHAD FATWA HAS INDEED BEEN ISSUED." BIN LADEN ALSO INDICATED THAT AN ATTACK COULD TAKE PLACE IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.”

That’s right. In May 1988, reportedly the U.S. government was so concerned about Osama Bin Laden, it contacted other governments including Egypt, Pakistan, the Arab States of the Gulf, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, and Yeman with the following message below.

“TERRORIST FINANCIER OSAMA BIN LADEN ADDRESSED A PRESS CONFERENCE IN AFGHANISTAN AT WHICH HE AGAIN CALLED FOR VIOLENT ATTACKS AND A JIHAD ON U.S. FORCES IN THE PERSIAN GULF. HE INDICATED THAT SUCH ATTACKS COULD OCCUR WITHIN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.

- THESE STATEMENTS ARE ONLY THE LATEST IN A LONG STRING OF BIN LADEN THREATS OF VIOLENCE AGAINST U.S. CITIZENS AROUND THE WORLD.

- THE USG TAKES THESE THREATS VERY SERIOUSLY. WE HAVE OTHER INDICATIONS THAT BIN LADEN MAY BE PLANNING AN ATTACK AGAINST AMERICAN INTERESTS IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

- WE ASK YOUR GOVERNMENT'S ASSISTANCE IN THWARTING SUCH AN ATTACK.

- FIRST, WE ASK THAT YOU INCREASE SECURITY AROUND U.S. DIPLOMATIC AND MILITARY FACILITIES. YOU MAY ALSO WISH TO INCREASE SECURITY AT U.S. BUSINESSES AND OTHER POTENTIAL TARGETS WHICH MIGHT BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE U.S.

- SECOND, IF YOU ARE AWARE OF ANY BIN LADEN ASSOCIATES IN YOUR COUNTRY, WE ASK THAT YOU INTERROGATE THEM AND WATCH THEIR ACTIONS CLOSELY TO SEE IF YOU CAN LEARN ANYTHING MORE OF PLANNING FOR AN ATTACK.

- FINALLY, WE ASK THAT YOU SHARE WITH US ON AN URGENT BASIS ANY INFORMATION YOU LEARN ON BIN LADEN OR HIS ASSOCIATES.

- WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION IN THIS MATTER, WHICH IS OF THE UTMOST CONCERN TO THE U.S.”

September 11, 2001, 911 Attack

According to reports, “Terrorists hijacked four airliners. They flew three of the planes into buildings: the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. They crashed the fourth plane in rural Pennsylvania. The attacks killed 2,976 people and injured thousands more. The 19 men who hijacked and crashed the four planes were all trained by al Qaeda. Three of the suspected pilots—Mohamed Atta, Marwan Al-Shehhi, and Ziad Jarrah—were part of an al Qaeda cell based in Hamburg, Germany. All four pilots took flying lessons in the United States.

Fifteen of the hijackers came from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt, and one from Lebanon. The oldest was 33; the rest were between 20 and 29. The group also included two sets of brothers: Wail and Waleed Al-Shehri on American Flight 11, and Nawaf and Salem Al-Hazmi on American Flight 77.

The hijackers began entering the United States in January 2000 to advance the plot. All 19 were in the country by early July 2001.”

Reportedly, “The first pager message reporting the attacks on the World Trade Center appears to have been sent by Morgan Stanley at 8:50 a.m. ET, saying that "an Aloha call is starting" due to a fire in the complex's south tower. Morgan Stanley leased 840,000 square feet in that building, on over 20 floors.”

In a different pager report, “A Secret Service page at 10:32 a.m. warned: "ANONYMOUS CALL TO JOC REPORTING ANGEL IS TARGET." Angel is the Secret Service codeword for Air Force One; JOC means Joint Operations Center. When the president's plane had departed Florida about half an hour earlier, it was en route to D.C. That anonymous threat seems to be what diverted President Bush on a high-speed flight across the country, first to Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, and then to an underground command center in Nebraska.”

Within hours of 911, news reports were suggesting that Osama Bin Laden was behind the 911 attack, but they offered no proof.

Shortly after 911, reportedly, “Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation gave personal airport escorts to two prominent Saudi families who fled the United States, while several other Saudis were allowed to leave the country without first being interviewed. The Saudis’ chartered flights – arranged in the days after the 11 September 2001 attacks when most aircraft were still grounded – have long been a topic of allegations related to close family ties and associates of US President George Bush and the Saudi royal family. The documents were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Justice Department by Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group, which provided copies to the Times.”

25th Anniversary of 911

During the 25th anniversary of 911 in New York City on September 11, 2026, Terry Strada, a widow of one of the 9/11 victims accused federal government officials of covering up Saudi Arabia’s ties to the 911 attack 25 years ago, and called on the convicted felon President Donald J. Trump to tell the Saudis to stop lying.

Death of Osama Bin Laden

Reportedly, “United States Navy SEALs killed Osama bin Laden on May 2, 2011, during a covert raid in Abbottabad, Pakistan.”

The Operation

• The Mission: Codenamed Operation Neptune Spear, the raid was authorized by President Barack Obama.


• The Location: Members of SEAL Team Six landed in two stealth helicopters at a walled compound roughly 30 miles northeast of Islamabad.



• The Outcome: After a brief firefight, U.S. forces shot and killed bin Laden along with four others, including one of his adult sons. No Americans were harmed.


Aftermath

• Body Recovery: The SEALs gathered extensive intelligence materials, including computers and documents, and took bin Laden's body for identification.


• Identification: Biometric testing, fingerprints, and facial recognition confirmed his identity in Afghanistan.


• Burial at Sea: U.S. forces transferred his body to the USS Carl Vinson and buried him at sea within 24 hours to prevent his gravesite from becoming a shrine.
