Constitution Day Community Conversation

For nearly 240 years, the U.S. Constitution has shaped our country even as it has been actively amended, interpreted, challenged, and debated. Join us in Mountain View on National Constitution Day to reflect on this document which continues to influence our rights, our freedoms, and our responsibilities to each other.

Former federal judge LaDoris Cordell will emcee the evening, which will feature a diverse lineup of speakers reflecting our community: educators, scientists, artists, musicians, faith leaders, veterans, elected officials, civil rights advocates, labor organizers, attorneys, disability and trans rights activists, journalists, and youth leaders (even a 10-year-old!). Each will share a unique perspective on what the Constitution means to them.

The evening will begin with light refreshments and conversation from 6:30–7:00 pm, followed by the main program at 7:00 pm.
