Seaside Candidate Forum

Seaside voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates for mayor and city council at a public candidate forum on Tuesday, September 29, ahead of the November 3, 2026, general election.

The League of Women Voters of Monterey County, in partnership with Sustainable Seaside, will host the forum at the Oldemeyer Center’s Laguna Grande Hall, 986 Hilby Avenue, Seaside. All candidates seeking the mayoral office and two city council seats have been invited to participate.

Doors open at 6 p.m., when audience members may submit questions for the candidates. The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. and concludes by 8:30 p.m.

Real-time Spanish-language interpretation will be provided. Se ofrecerá interpretación al español en tiempo real.

The forum is free and open to the public. Although it will not be livestreamed, a recording will be available afterward on the League of Women Voters of Monterey County website https://my.lwv.org/california/monterey-county/videos and on their YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@lwvmp
