STOP Union Busting, Victory To The ILWU 6 & 10 C&H Workers & For Global Labor Actions & General Strikes On Oct 30 Against Imperialist War, Genocide and For Workers Here & Around the World

The plan by the slave labor Fangal family which owns C& H bust ILWU Local 6 and bring in scab longshore workers to challenge ILWU Local 10 longshore workers has been temporarily put on hold. Despite paying millions to bring in scabs and bust the unions they have had a temporary setback and were forced to take back the ILWU Local 6 members although they fired 4 of the workers who are still not back at work.

On July 21 when hundreds of Bay Area Local 10 walked off the job and joined the picket line the company was forced to agree to take workers back under the old contract. They also are trying to weaken the union by running over pickets and criminal charges against 5 union members and 5 supporters. The scabs that run down the pickets have not been held accountable.
The growing frontal attacks on the ILWU 6 & 10 is not the only attack. USW5 Marathon workers have been out for months in Concord and replaced by scabs including unions that are crossing picket lines.

A success for the C&H ILWU 6 and 10 workers and the USW 5 Marathon requires building a united labor community solidarity action committee and movement to mobilize all workers in the Bay Area. Workers have the power to bust these union busters with mass working class action and the action today to demand the dropping all the charges against these workers is critical.
The scabs who ran over strikers have also not been held accountable and we need to demand criminal prosecution of these scabs.
At the same time Trump and the fascist government is preparing for the introduction of fascist martial law nationally and is openly challenging and ignoring any democratic rights under the constitution. This will not be stopped by the Democrats and the mid-term elections.

He is already using ICE and government gestapo agents to terrorize and jail immigrants and workers in concentration "detention" camps throughout the country and they are partnering with local police for a national fascist force targeting immigrants, trade unionists, activists and leftists.
On October 30 dock worker unions throughout Europe from CGT Ports and Docks (France), ENEDEP (Greece), LAB (Basque Country), Liman-İş (Turkey), ODT (Morocco), ORSA PORTI (Italy) and USB (Italy), representing workers in more than 40 European ports will be striking.

In the US we need to build support for this international day of global strike action. As this Trump fascist government moves toward fascist martial law we need to prepare now for a national general strike against the attacks on workers, unions, immigrants and our democratic and human rights.
This is the only action that can challenge the fascist control of the state.

We also need a mass democratic labor party in this country with a program for national healthcare, for workers control of energy, banks, utilities, healthcare, housing and the defense of public education. It must support ending military and economic support for apartheid Israel, the withdrawal of all US bases around the world and for the trillion dollar war budget to be used for the working class and oppressed in this country. The billionaires and techno fascists must be expropriated and the wealth and resources of this land belongs to the people and working class.
