The lobbying firms and lobbyists in the pocket of big business may be raking in the BIG MONEY to meddle in our elections, and to influence legislation, regulations, or policies made by government officials.

Reportedly, “A lobbying firm is a business or professional organization paid by outside clients to influence legislation, regulations, or policies made by government officials. These firms employ professional advocates—known as lobbyists—who communicate directly with lawmakers, regulators, and government staff to represent the interests of corporations, trade groups, unions, or nonprofits.”

A lobbying firm in the pocket of big business in California may meddle in our elections, help with budget advocacy, legislative representation, to influence legislation, regulatory affairs and procurement. Big business corporations may not have the brains to decide which politicians or candidates they should support, or oppose with their campaign contributions in an election, and a lobbying firm may meddle in an election to make the decisions for them with their so-called political contribution programs.
