There are many rivers of money flowing from big business and the political parties to our elections, greedy politicians and the candidates running for office. Ever since the US Supreme Court has repeatedly weakened campaign contribution laws, the rivers of money have been flowing into our elections, some of the greedy politicians in the pocket of big business, and the many candidates eager to please the interests of big business.

Here is something that is interesting. Just try to imagine, even though Fox News, Fox Corporation, and it’s affiliated entities have been spewing tons of rabid anti-lgbtq+ rhetoric and hatred often, reportedly according to public records with the California Secretary of State website, San Francisco politician Scott Wiener (who is gay), and Berkeley’s progressive politician Jesse Arreguin have both accepted $1,500 in campaign contributions from Fox. Additionally, the California Democratic Party accepted $50,000 in campaign contributions from the Fox Corporation and its affiliates. One can only wonder, what’s wrong with this picture?

The military contractor merchants of death have been busy lobbying the politicians in an effort to have it their way, including the Lockheed Martin Corporation, and the employees of RTX, formerly known as Raytheon when it was caught gouging military contracts at times.

In 2021, according to the DOJ, “Boeing agreed to pay a total criminal monetary amount of over $2.5 billion, composed of a criminal monetary penalty of $243.6 million, compensation payments to Boeing’s 737 MAX airline customers of $1.77 billion, and the establishment of a $500 million crash-victim beneficiaries fund to compensate the heirs, relatives, and legal beneficiaries of the 346 passengers who died in the Boeing 737 MAX crashes of Lion Air Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302.”

Additionally, in 2010, Northrop Grumman Agreed to Pay $12.5 Million to Settle Civil False Claims Act Case Alleging Test Violations.
