Homecare Worker Speaks Out At SF SEIU 2015 HQ To Demand No Neutrality On Billionaires Tax

A small rally was held at the offices of SEIU 2015 in San Francisco to call on the SEIU 2015 and statewide SEIU to support the billionaires tax proposition 40.
SEIU 2015 has more than 400,000 mostly homecare worker members and the leadership as
well as California SEIU president David Huerta are refusing to support proposition 40 which would put a one time
5% capital tax on California's billionaires. The California SEIU has over 750,000 members.
SEIU 2015 Bradley Weidmaier talked about the need to make up the massive cuts coming because of Trump and
the Republican big tax cut bill.
Weidmaier also talked about the bureaucratic control of the largest local in the country to prevent the members have any democratic control over what the local does. San Francisco members have been trying to have a vote of the members to support the proposition but according to Weidmaier have been thwarted by the bureaucracy.
