STREETSIDE: "Books aren't dying!"
A message from STREETSIDE, dedicated to Berkeley's Half Price Books.
Hi!
Ever since Half Price Books started closing,
things haven't been the same.
Then again, what's "the same"?
Do we compare ourselves with the other
unburgeoning of Bay Arean bookkeepers?
Or with books everywhere?
Or the internet, or AI, or the city? Or us?
Books aren't dying unless we say they are.
So, maybe they are.
How about a renaissance?
STREETSIDE is there. Everyday, or the next, it'll be there.
Where Half Price used to be, and might be again.
Pick your own price, or call it free, and feel welcome to the literature of Isaiah Dylan Clark's, STREETSIDE's first artist and de facto customer-greeter for Half Price.
I'll post more, here and there.
Take care!
