Defend DACA Nurses! Kaiser CNA-NNU Rally In San Francisco To Protest Attack On Nurse

The massive Kaise HMO which has millions of patients in California is now terminating DACA nurses whose paper work has been held up by the fascist Trump government. A rally was held on May 11, 2026 of nurses from Kaiser, Sutter and UC rallied to demand that put the nurse on administrative leave instead of terminating her. The NNU CNA and San
Francisco Labor Council demanded that there be no termination and that the SFLC will reach out to to all their members to demand that Kaiser drop their termination threat. The CNA NNU also reported that contrary to Kaiser , UC has an agreement that nurses there will be put on administrative leave than face termination. Nurses also reported that there is a
massive shortage of staff and there is even a break down of sanitizers at Kaiser SF that has led to a large number of surgery appointment cancellations. Kaiser after a 4 month strike of the IUOE Stationary Engineers broke the union and they have been unable to get properly trained bio-med technicians putting the patients in dangers because of the equipment breakdown. Also workers reported that there has been dirty equipment in the surgery rooms threatening the lives of patients.
Kaiser has over $60 billion in funds that could be used for staffing.
Workers also reported on the expenditure of hundreds of millions of dollars on AI which is being used to get ride of human beings and replacement with chat boxes and AI nurses and the failure of the state to regulate and control the introduction of AI into healthcare.
