UESF Strike Victory or Strike Out?

by Whats Left
On the show "What Left" a striking UESF teacher talks about their strike in San Francisco, the lack of democracy and what the members got in their 4 day strike
Striking UESF Teachers Held Rallies During The Strike
The San Francisco UESF strike was the first in 50 years and according to some teachers the strike was orchestrated by the top leadership to prevent democratic debate and discussion during the strike and when the strike was shutdown without a vote. There were no mass union membership meetings during and after the TA and the leadership told bargaining committee members not to report what was happening in the negotiations to the striking members of the UESF.
