Alex Pretti's murder by ICE has been met by massive and righteous outrage.
Alex Pretti gave his life nonviolently defending someone against a gang of fascist thugs, who fired at least ten shots into him. These points stand out:

*It is on us, on all decent people to go forward. We are on our own, and what we do or don't do will change history.

*Fascism is upon us. There can be no living with fascism. It must be defeated- and can be.

*This fascism is deeply rooted in the history of this country and in the system of capitalism-imperialism. The emergence of this fascism poses grave dangers- but it is also a sign that we are in a rare time when fundamental change- a real revolution- can come on the agenda.
