Connie Chan has served as District 1 Supervisor since being elected in
2020. Connie has fought tirelessly for affordable housing, protections
for small businesses, workers’ and union rights, and increased support
for families who are struggling during these difficult times.
In Congress, she will continue this work by advocating for affordable
healthcare, fair wages and worker protections, more affordable and
workforce housing, and education programming like Free City College,
to make San Francisco livable for working people. As an immigrant
herself, Connie will fight to protect immigrants and all our
fundamental rights to ensure everyone in our community can live, work,
and thrive in our city.
Connie has served as the Chair of the Board of Supervisors Budget
Committee since February 2023, and also serves as a member of the San
Francisco County Transportation Authority, the San Francisco Local
Agency Formation Commission, the Free City College Oversight
Committee, and the State Legislation Committee.
