CIA reportedly knew of JFK assassination plot beforehand

Apparently, it was no secret that JFK was about to be assassinated in 1963

On November 22, 2025, the 62nd anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy occurred on November 22, 2025, barely a few days ago. 

That’s right. The CIA reportedly knew of the tragic JFK assassination plot beforehand? I believe that this story could be a great film if Sean Penn or some others wanted to take a look back into history, for an untold story that needs to be told.

According to an April 1976 government report about CIA activities in Japan, Richard C. Nagell became acquainted with Lee Harvey Oswald while in Japan, and that he knew of the John F. Kennedy assassination beforehand.

According to a different report in the Los Angeles Free Press in July 1975, reportedly Nagell first met Oswald in the late 50’s at the US naval base at Atsugi, Japan, where Oswald was a Marine Corps radar specialist, and became friends.

During an encounter with Oswald in August of 1963, Nagell learned of the plot against Kennedy.

Reportedly, in August of 1963 Nagell, working as a CIA agent learned of the plot to assassinate JFK, involving Oswald and some ant-Castro Cubans, and informed his CIA superior but fear nothing would be done because he lacked sufficient details of the plot. On Sept. 13 he dispatched a letter warning J. Edgar Hoover of the plot but again assumed no action would be taken.

According to the report, as Nagell understood the plot, JFK was to be shot in Washington around Sept. 6, However, JFK left Sept. 25 for a rand tour of the West, eventually taking him to Dallas for that fateful day that he was assassinated.

Being frantic about what was to come, Nagell flew to Havanna, where Castro aides suggested that Oswald should be assassinated to save JFK’s life.

Fearing that his association with Oswald would implicate him in the assassination of JFK, Nagell flew to El Paso, Texas, and walked into a bank to get arrested so that he would have an alibi of being in jail when JFK was shot. Nagell was arrested for being a bank robber to go to jail, as an alibi during the assassination of JFK.

<a href="According%20to%20Wikipedia,%20reportedly,%E2%80%9D">An old friend of mine named Perry Russo, who passed away years ago, allegedly was with Lee Harvey Oswald, Clay Shaw, and David Ferry around a month before the assassination of JFK, and they allegedly discussed how JFK could be assassinated.

One day Perry told me that Kennedy was actually assassinated by 3 people in Dallas 62 years ago on November 22, 1963, and he said Oswald did not kill Kennedy. I recall feeling shocked by this revelation. Reportedly, Lee Harvey Oswald claimed that he was innocent, and was just a patsy.

I used to work for Perry Russo as a teenage runaway in the late 60’s at his buck a night crash pad in the French Quarter of New Orleans called the Youth Rescue League, during the Jim Garrison Investigation. I first met Perry when he picked me and a friend up while we were hitch hiking from Houston to New Orleans, for Mardi Gras. We became friends, and Perry offered us a job working for him at the crash pad that he was about to open. My friend Gary McDaniels and I used to clean up the crash pad everyday after we chased every one off around noon, and they could come back later and sign in again. I used to sleep there at night, and knew a lot of the regulars after a while. A big guy called “Red” who was a native American, used to be the manager there. Often we would go with Perry to ‘Buster Holmes Restaurant’ for breakfast in the French Quarter, for some beans and rice, or rice and gravy, including some french bread with butter, and a glass of water for only 30 cents a meal. It was a funky kind of place, with sawdust on the floor, and dogs wandering in and out, but the food was good.

I recall that things seemed to get pretty intense during the Jim Garrison Investigation for Perry with all of the media attention taking place at the time. I recall feeling really concerned when Bobby Kennedy was assassinated, and Martin Luther King was assassinated. Perry used to get all excited about the assassinations, and claimed that there was a revolution going on.

Considering that Perry knew Lee Harvey Oswald, and was in court during the Jim Garrison Investigation going on, I recall wondering if Perry was involved in these assassinations somehow.

I used to hang out with Perry at night when he would make the rounds in New Orleans, and I think that Perry was selling guns while he made the rounds. One night after Perry dropped me off at a restaurant to hang out while he was making his rounds, the owner of the restaurant approached me and told me I should stay away from Perry Russo, because he was a dangerous fellow. I recall that this concerned me.

I think that Perry was connected to the mafia in New Orleans at the time. At least, that is what he told me.

Years later, Perry Russo helped Oliver Stone with his film called “JFK.”

From what Perry told me, as a teenager, Lee Harvey Oswald used to be a hustler in New Orleans, and used to get paid to go to bed with gay men as a teenager. Clay Shaw, David Ferrie, and Perry Russo were also gay, and used to hang out with each other before the Jim Garrison Investigation occurred.
