2025 Greater Sacramento Kwanzaa Celebrations showcase our "California Grown" Pan African Harvest celebrations that includes a rebirth of California Black Agriculture bounty.
Everyone is invited to enjoy our unique agriculture journey toward expanding California Pan African Global Trade and Commerce.
All of our Sacramento regional diverse ethnic cultures are welcome to experience our unique Pan African “Matunda Ya Kwanzaa” First Fruits of the Agriculture Harvest Celebration.
(Pan African and/or Cultural Attire Suggested)
Everyone is invited to experience our special 59th Season of Kwanzaa Celebrations that first began in the aftermath of the 1965 Watts Rebellion in Los Angeles, California as created by Dr. Maulana Karenga and the US Organization.
Highlights of our public Kwanzaa celebrations:
* Ingathering of the people - bringing together our agriculture harvest for the renewing & strenghthening amongst each other.
* Reverence for the Creator and Creation - Giving thanks to the Creator for a good life for all and to renew right and harmonious relationship with the divine, natural and social orders.
* Commemoration of the past - expressing reverent respect for worthy esteemed ancestors who modeled an ethical life, by honoring their struggles and achievements.
* Recommitment to Pan African Cultural ideals - the renewal and rededication in thought and practice to the principles and values that serve as a grounding for family and our communities.
* Celebration of the good - the good of our Creator, Creation and life, of ourselves as a people, our History and Culture, and the agriculture harvests yet to come.
