The Republicrat Fraud & the Crisis of US Capitalist Control of Healthcare

Trump and the Republicans are now attacking the greedy insurance companies and subsidies from the government as the cause of the healthcare crisis while the Democrats say that they need to give more cash to the insurance companies.

WorkWeek interviews Ed Grystar on the board of National Single Payer and former president of the Butler County CLC about the collapsing healthcare system and why both capitalist parties and the Unions have refused to even have a national discussion on single payer or national healthcare which people in Canada and many other countries have.

Grystar also talks about the role of the AFL-CIO and trade union bureaucracy who refuse to launch any national campaign for single payer despite the fact that some of these unions call for it in their political platforms. He also discusses the failure of Zohran Namdani who has won the vote for mayor of New York to oppose privatization of medicare through Medicare Advantage and also to support national single payer against the insurance companies, Democrats and Republicans.
