Oakland District 5 staff sides with Prologis, making a hasty coverup of truthful graffiti
Prologis, our local Wall St. cancer, has spent the last 12+ months quietly poisoning the Fruitvale district, water, & all of deep East Oakland via toxic dust and hazmat emissions. 3600 Alameda Ave is one of two crime scenes.
Truthful public messaging has been covered up, with local activists surveilled and harassed, all in the name of an illegally planned mega-warehouse.

Evidently, silent Gallo & the so called "City" of Oakland have sided with these occupiers, abandoning the people for easy cash. They want that mega-warehouse revenue badly, claiming "Fruitvale Alive", while the plan is to inundate the air with 48 truck loading docks (250 trucks per day), allowing Wall St. full reign to further pillage and desecrate stolen lands.
Similar evil is planned at the former AB&I Foundry site, which Prologis has illegally leased to Auto Plus Towing. While I was not there to bear witness, Prologis used the same sick corporation, "Innovative C̶o̶n̶s̶t̶r̶u̶c̶t̶i̶o̶n Criminal Solutions", to profiteer from spreading and diluting toxins into the community during demolition.
ICS also re-poisoned the homes and spaces surrounding Exide in "Vernon, CA." Rather than clean up diligently, they did a rush job, spreading leaded soil around, also illegally dumping 105 tons of said soil into a regular landfill:

The "city" of Oakland has the power to shut them down, but they are in bed with Prologis, constantly sucking each other off.
Prologis = Wall Street = Modus operandi is increasing shareholder profits BAMN, all else be damned. They will happily poison even children to make it happen, privatizing profits & nationalizing the heavy cost onto the environment and surrounding communities.
We should thus stop/end Prologis, BAMN!
I must regrettably withdraw the previous call to action, at least for now. Heroic resistance efforts, combined with a few incorruptible regulators, have resulted in Prologis being delayed from further toxic plans until March 2026. (some of their moronic, PCB lobotomized contractor's mistakes also contributed to the slowdown, ha!).
It would be irresponsible of me to ask others to come here, given what we now know for certain:
deeply troubling mishandling of hazmat waste, especially mass quantities (4.59 MILLION LBS over 9 short months!) of highly concentrated PCBs has been widespread at 3600 Alameda Ave, with devastating health and ecological impacts.
The entire surrounding area is contaminated, and badly. More so downwind, but I expect PCB levels have shot up for a half mile radius at least.
These most potent neurotoxins can bring even a healthy person down before they know what's hit them. No joking matter at all, I really wish I was wrong.
Most of the toxic PCB piles were stored openly and loaded poorly around 50-100 feet from the Alameda Ave fence line, between the driveway at 3600 and the corner at Fruitvale.
But even then, PCB loaded dust is still strewn across many acres. It can be seen swirling in the air at night, under a flashlight. They had no containment for this nasty crap.
My neighbors are all exhibiting signs of both chronic and acute PCB poisonings, as am I. Many of them seem half-lobotomized, or down and depressed, with muted expressions.
Before this toxic terrorism, Prologis' PCB nuking blitzkrieg, these were all vibrant people.
Now, they are shells of their former selves. I fear, as elders, they are more grievously affected, and not as able to recover like I am.
Same worry for the little ones here- PCBs will wreak havoc especially on developing brains.
So unless you have a P100 rated respirator, and a change of clothes before leaving, it is best to stay away.
Even with respiratory precautions, this stuff will easily penetrate your skin in a flash. A moon suit is all that can truly keep it out, or the right material coveralls with every last bit of skin covered. Nitrile is safe to use, but latex is not, for instance.
We will organize protests and resistance in a safer area, maybe even make some noise by Prologis' diseased occupier's HQ, over at Pier 1 in Frisco. Oakland city hall is another good choice- they partnered with Prologis, and we are paying the ultimate price for that deep betrayal.
It's heartbreaking, watching the saga unfolding, and piecing together the facts now, looking back.

Seabirds have been bathing and sunning themselves in this toxic dust recently. They seem to get stuck there after landing. PCB neurotoxic influence? We might never know for sure.

Instead, they did a spin story with Noel Gallo. Omitting and sanitizing reality, convincing people of their "keeping the neighborhood clean and safe".

Anyone who commuted or had recreational walks/cycling down Fruitvale, Alameda Ave, or that stretch of the Bay Trail during or post demo (summer 2024 thru the present) should be concerned, more so with repeated exposures. Anyone who was present frequently, or on bad days, at the Home Depot parking lot, or businesses/areas nearby, also should be concerned.
Much of the thickest dust blew onto that commercial area, not just our little residential area. Some of these clouds were so big, they contaminated far into Deep East Oakland. We will probably never know the full extent, but I intend to dig up any evidence available to uncover more truth.
Those slimy bastards cut up PCB contaminated metals with torches all over the site, but a lot was done right by Alameda Ave.
One whiff of those fumes, even just a little... such bad news for a baby's brain, kids, or even adults. Especially elders.
