Join this FREE walking tour taking up San Francisco social movement history, surveying 10 stories of displacement and subordination by dominating interests. From the Ohlone subduction to the Mormon Hegira to the Black Panthers vilification to today's Bay Region housing challenges, our narrative will explore what binds them all, namely treatment of land itself as private rather than community property.

The highlight will be an introduction to San Francisco's stellar 19th century proposal to socialize the annual location rent of America's footprint and thus rid the world of private landlordism while at the same time making everyone a shareholder in the planet's economic location value.
