Come along on a survey of San Francisco social movements that distils from them an evolutionary political taxonomy. The hypothesis: politics can be explained as the human response to territorial/habitat exclusion. In other words, in response to being dominated by excluding demographics, the dominated/excluded communities generate life-affirming action and resistance to that domination.

Along the way you'll meet the Mormon hegira, the Black Panthers, the Queer Liberation movement, the American Indian Movement, the Diggers, Greta Thunberg in San Francisco, the Chinese Democracy Movement and its San Francisco Sun Yat-sen roots, and more!

FREE! Discover your own inner-Darwin political aversion! Long live Alfred Russell Wallace!
